Miki saw this other girl didn’t give any fucks. She took her job seriously and if looks could kill, she’d be dead from the maid’s stare by now.
“Alright, alright, I’m done playing,” she held her hands up. “My name is Miki Sanada and I wished to talk to your mistress about helping me track down someone.”
“Miki Sanada, I am afraid my mistress does not indulge those wishes so readily, unless you are able to offer her something of interest. If you are unable to offer such, then I advise you to take your leave. If you plan to force your way through,” she said, still glaring at Miki. “Then you will have to deal with me first.”
Miki jumped when she heard the voice. She’s sworn there was no one around…
“Well, I’m here to see the one known as Remilia Scarlet,” she turned to face the girl who had called out and gawked.
The girl looked like Miki if she grew out her hair, had red eyes, and dressed as a maid. A maid with very fetching legs, she noted to herself.
“Its like looking into a mirror…” she observed the maid. “A twisted mirror, but a mirror nonetheless…”
“My mistress?” Sakuya narrowed her eyes at the stranger, suspicious of her intentions. The last time a human sought her mistress led to a rather unpleasant encounter she wished not to repeat. “She has not informed me of your arrival.”
In addition, the way the other took her in was rather discomfiting, and her following comment caused Sakuya to blink momentarily in confusion, though she regained her composure just as quickly. Their appearances were as different as night and day, and by gods, she would not be caught dead in that clothing the other sported. “Mirror? I do not know of this mirror you speak of, but it would be wise if you stated your name and business with my mistress, stranger.”
Night of Personas, Japanese Version!
Miki found herself at the gates of a mansion deep within the land of Gensokyo. Shinji had taken her here a couple of times before, but he never took her here.
“Hm… so this is the Scarlet Devil Mansion?” she looked it over. “Huh, wonder where the gatekeeper is? Toramaru said there would be on…”
The explosions of a fight echoed nearby as she saw a red-haired girl fight with what seemed to be a witch on a broomstick.
“…Well, that explains it,” she sweatdropped. “Anyways, to find this Remilia person… If she can really manipulate fate and destiny, perhaps she can help me find Aya…”
Visitors to the mansion were generally rare, unless they were of the fairy variety and were seeking employment.
…Unless of course you were Marisa Kirisame and felt the need to tread on thin ice with regards to one’s life expectancy.
Sakuya simply gave a cursory glance at the scuffle by the entrance, noting that the intruder has been more or less taken care of by Meiling. What interested her more was their new guest, who fell in the former category of being a rare visitor.
A human—and a strangely dressed one at that. This one… was a lady if she was not mistaken, despite how short she kept her hair, in addition to her preference for male clothing. She only knew of one world that adhered to such customs, and she briefly wondered if this lady hailed from that place she came to know as ‘Japan’.
“Greetings, stranger.” Sakuya folded her arms as she continued to appraise the other. “What brings you to my mistress’s humble abode?”
